Caregiver Assistance Training Session

TDCF conducted a caregiver assistance session for nursing students focused on the care of elders living with dementia. This session aimed to provide students with valuable insights. The session covered key topics, including an overview of dementia, its prevention, and the creation of dementia-friendly environments. Participants learned about the unique challenges faced by individuals with dementia and were equipped with strategies to enhance communication, promote independence, and ensure the safety and comfort of these elders.

By fostering a deeper understanding of dementia care, TDCF aims to empower nursing students to become more compassionate and competent caregivers. This initiative not only enhances their professional development but also contributes to improving the quality of care provided to elders living with dementia in the community.
